I started by creating a warm, nostalgic atmosphere that fits the game’s cozy farm setting, using a C# minor progression as the foundation. I built the main melody on a Mark V piano with gentle reverb and added strings for a soft indie feel, keeping the theme adaptable so seasonal variations can be made by simply adjusting the tempo. To give the track more character, I added a subtle beat and a crackling room ambience shaped from a fire sample, which introduced an 80s future-wave texture. I enhanced the strings with phaser and ended the piece with a C#m7 arpeggio for a modern, curious touch. This theme now serves as the base for easily creating memorable versions for all four seasons.
