Sound From The Sky began as a dreamy, snowy piece inspired by your game’s literary Alaska setting and the girl sending hopeful signals across the trains.

I first created a soft atmospheric foundation with piano, distant trumpets, room tone and subtle textures, then strengthened the track based on your feedback by making the trumpet the clear hero.

In the third draft I rebuilt the harmony and structure entirely to create a more impactful progression and a memorable winter-themed melody.

This became one of the most elaborate game tracks I have ever worked on, and unlike typical game music that avoids verse–chorus forms, it naturally evolved into something closer to a full orchestral pop song.
